My baby was completely on brest milk and was always in 70 to 80 percentile. Most important thing I did was not to stress so much for feeding. Stress is the main cause for low milk production in mommies. So enjoy the period, breast milk or formula milk, my dear mommies you are everything which your baby need. Just for reference I will share my diet which is similar to what already shared my many mommies: lots of garlic in all meal of the day, masoor dal everyday, jeera powder in all vegetables, soof water. Try to follow for a week if you see changes thn follow these:
1 keep skin to skin touch with your baby whenever possible, you can try kangaroo mother care too.
2. Avoid stress and negative people and try to keep your mood light. It’s ok if milk supply is low but your continuous worrying will decrease it even more.
3.have loads of water , I heard water become milk so I started drinking 4-5 bottles in dat time and especially while pumping or breast feeding.
4. Lactonic powder in milk at least 4 times.
5.for initial days have lactare or domstal along with lactonic powder. I take two lactare tablet at once and 6 per day.
6.the best thing is pumping 8-10 times and power pump twice a day. You can watch any YouTube video for that.
7. Saunf powder before every feed .
8. Methi and jeera powder first thing in the morning.
Well now I’m on exclusive bm, it took a lot of effort and consistency. For two months I was just making effort without much result . Even if you forget few things from above or feel lazy sometimes, just don’t miss lactonic in warm milk, lactare 6 tablets and pumping and power pump.
