When A Miracle Happened, 20 Days After My Delivery

Last Updated on

Dear All,

I want to share my nightmare experience with all of you. I hope you won’t face the same, and that this formula will work for you.

My delivery was a C-section, and my baby girl was in the NICU after birth for 3 days. A nurse came to me with a spoon and bowl to take my breast milk for the first feed for my daughter. I refused, and asked her to bring my daughter. She denied it. This went on for 3 days. On the 3rd day, they came to me with my daughter, and asked me to feed the baby. We started giving her my pumped milk from the bottle, which was not enough to feed her and make her tummy full. But, my daughter didn’t take the feed. We tried multiple things to feed her, but she did not take even one sip of breast milk. I tried artificial nipples, and many other things. Nothing worked.

I was very worried. I decided to go to my gynaecologist, and shared the problem with her. She was very upset about my daughter and me. I met with her for 2 days. She told me that the baby doesn’t know how to feed, and we have to teach her. She didn’t take her consultation charges from me for 3 visits.

My daughter started sucking with the nipple initially, then the doctor told me to stop the nipple after 1 week. I did that, and finally, after 2 days and with the guidance of my gynac, my baby started feeding. Her formula worked for breastfeeding my daughter! I was very relaxed, and thanked my doctor over and over again. She was a God to me at that time. It was more than a miracle to me.

Now my daughter is 6 months old, and is on exclusive breastfeeding. She is healthy, and so am I. My milk productivity also increased after she started breastfeeding! Doctors are God. Many thanks to every doctor out there.

To moms, I say, please have patience. If your baby is not feeding, they will learn slowly. It will work – there is nothing to worry about. All the best to every mother out there!
