Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy4 years agoA. as soon as you are stopping breastfeeding of the child the the body mechanism will decrease formation of breastmilk automatically by negative feedback mechanism and gradually the milk formation will stop

Hello Ma’am You should just not stop immediately breastfeeding the child you have to reduce down the quantity and the number of feeds on an every day basis because that with the flow also reduces over the period but as of now you can consult a doctor for a course of medication and the feed also will take about week to 10 days to stop completely
