why should we not give sugar and salt to babies under 1 year?

A. it is not required by the baby so you should avoid overloading the little Kidneys with sodium. After 1 year 9f age, gradually you can start with all the foods you prepare at home ,which are easy to digest ,nutritious, less oily, less spicy. Keep including seasonal fruits vegetables proteins in the diet on regular basis. Keep giving few probiotics like curd buttermilk or yogurt. These are rich sources of natural probiotics.
