why my kid is having dark green stool

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician4 years agoA. yes, it's normal.. yellow, mustard yellow, Orange,green, dark green, brown are normal color variations in babies stool.. the important is the consistency of it.. if the stool is paste like, soft, & baby is putting on weight green poop is not necessarily a cause for concern of it

Green poop may indicate a foremilk/hindmilk imbalance in breastfed babies, which results in your baby is getting a larger portion of foremilk (watery milk) than hindmilk (thicker, fattier milk). Though this can cause tummy discomfort, it doesn't indicate a milk supply issue or problem with your milk.
