A. if baby is not taking feed through bottle then it is better advisable to give spoon to the baby as it is more healthier and hygienic for the baby and also causes less gas formation in the stomach

A. This is termed as a nursing strike. Some of the reasons could be 1) if the baby is ill (ear infection, hand, foot, mouth disease, teething, etc.) 2) if there's an overactive letdown 3) baby was startled at the breast (e.g., by mom yelping if bitten, etc.)Your baby was recently weaned and wants to continue breastfeeding. Your baby isn't hungry enough to want feeding. Your baby is feeling sick, colicky, or otherwise unwell enough to feed.Sleep feeding can disrupt a baby's natural sleep-wake patterns causing him to wake more often during the night. It also has the potential to provide more milk than a baby needs to consume during the night, and by doing so decrease his appetite and desire to eat the next morning. One of the biggest culprits for an extra sleepy baby who doesn't want to eat as much is teething. If you haven't noticed any growth spurt signs from your baby and they're acting fussy and irritable, it's highly likely that your baby is having teething discomfort that's affecting their normal sleeping and eating habits.12-Nov-2021
