Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. meet your doctor to find the weight gain of the child as well as weight and height of the child and if they are within normal limits then no need to worry
if they are less then doctor will assess for nutritional deficiency as well as need of supplements for your child.
give plenty of water and juice efxtracted from fruits which will help in increasing the appetite.
you can add ghee and dry fruits to the diet in quantity not causing any digestion problem to the child.
go through the firstcry application which will tell you which recipes you can make at home and offer to the child at this age for weight gain

You should give proper support of proteins to the child along with the diet that you are giving to the child and which is what is going to be beneficial for overall weight gain and growth you can also also include varieties of dairy products into the diet of your child
