Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. you have to give only demand feeding to the child that is whenever the child feels hungry you can give milk to the child
and the child will take the milk according to the need and then will leave the milk.
if the child is taking more milk you can offer milk in more quantity with intermittentc burping .
there is no need to to go for fixed feeding pattern.
also there is no need to wake up the child from sleep if the weight of the child is within normal limits .
also if the weight gain of the child every month is normal then no need to worry regarding the pattern of breastfeeding
RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl1 Year agoA. Maybe your child is not getting sufficient feed in one go which is why your child is waking up quite often to take a feet because the child gets hungry really fast so make sure the child is very fat so that your child sleep for at least 2 to 3 hours at a stretch
