Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. there are number of reasons of excessive crying in children because it can be either due to some type of colic pain or digestion problem or due to some type of nasal blockage abdominal pain or any body pain / ear ache.
so if it is not improving meet your doctor and for pain you can give one dosage of paracetamol.
if it appears to be colic pain hyou can give anti colic medicine and if it is due to nasal blockage you can give nasal saline drops.
many times changing the environment of the child helps as well as diverting the child helps.
POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy1 Year agoA. There could be several reasons why your two-year-old daughter is crying while being picked up and walked around:
1. **Physical Discomfort**: She may be experiencing physical discomfort such as gas, constipation, teething pain, or an injury that becomes more noticeable when moved.
2. **Overstimulation**: If she's sensitive to sensory input or feeling overwhelmed by her surroundings, being picked up and moved might exacerbate her distress.
3. **Fatigue**: If she's tired or feeling sleepy, being lifted and carried might disrupt her desire to rest, causing frustration.
4. **Attention or Comfort Seeking**: Sometimes, toddlers cry to get attention or seek comfort, especially if they're feeling insecure or upset about something.
5. **Developmental Changes**: As toddlers grow and develop, they may go through phases where they become more sensitive or clingy due to developmental milestones or changes in routine.
To address this, observe if there are specific times or situations when she tends to cry more, and try to identify any patterns. Comfort her gently, ensure she's not in discomfort or pain, and provide reassurance. If her crying persists or is accompanied by other concerning symptoms, it's advisable to consult her pediatrician for further evaluation.
