Why it isn't advisable to make 5 old baby to drink cow's milk? Why always formula if breastmilk supply is low, why not cow milk? Please explain. Thank you

A. Yes, It is recommended not to give packet milk or cows milk or any other animal milk until baby is one year old. It will be harsh for the baby's still developing digestive system. Breastmilk is always the best milk. WHO recommends exclusive breastfeeding until six months. So far no one was able to make a perfectly alternate product for breastmilk which is highly nutritious and has some incredible elements. Formula is a close to and safe choice for those who cannot breastfeed due to various reasons. Breastmilk is always the best milk but giving formula won't harm your baby.
