Q.
why is my one month old not leaving my breast after enough feed? He is also staying for more than an hour sometimes , Sometimes he leaves my breast after feed ? what could be the reason and soloution

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 8 m old boy2 years agoA. very important to see that position and attachment while breastfeeding the child is proper. if improper the child will continue to suck for long hrs without getting any milk meet lactational counsellor who will guided regarding this. see videos on you tube for breastfeeding position and attachment. take plenty of water, home made diet, seasonal fruits and vegetables, milk for increasing breast milk for yourself.f take 15 to 30 days weight and growth assessment by the doctor.

Please just kind of an addiction that small kids kids have words nipple they can even keep bottle into the mouth if they’re on bottle feeding it helps him sleep well so a lot of kids can behave like that’s a very normal behaviour to be seen in an early age
