why doesn't my sore nipple cure? It cures but gets worse after every feed. sometimes it leaks blood too. which ointment can i use?? any tablets to use?? #asktheexpert

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. give rest to that breast n express milk.See it looks ok only.but if you doubt then for your satisfaction show to a doctor there as they can examine the patient and give even a better opinion in this case .

Esther MurryMom of a 5 yr 2 m old girl4 years agoA. I had the same problem while breastfeeding for the first time. I cried everytime I fed my baby cause of the pain. I used nipcare, cleaned with warm water regularly.

Neelam sharmaMom of a 15 yr 8 m old boy4 years agoA. you can clean gently with water and apply nipcare cream on nipples and whenever you are going to feed baby wash it thoroughly, and if after that nipple doesn't cure then do consult with your doctor regarding this once
