Q.

why does my baby born preterm at 27 weeks gaining weight very slowly? birth weight was 940 gms. Now he is just 2.7 kg at 4 and a half month. corrected age is 2 months old. he is exclusively formula fed with similac neosure.

A. as preterm ok. you can feed egg, paneer soya, halwa, banana. a great variety if home made stuff guarantee weight gain plus health as well. that ensures appropriate milestone in time for babies. ok.

A. Hello dear parent! There should be a minimum weight gain of 400gms to 500gms in a month. Continue feeding your baby well on demand for better health, nutrition and hydration. Use Babyhug tummy roll on. Kerp your doctor posted about any changes or developments.
