Q.

Why does my 3 month old baby girl looks red and sometimes very dark..is it normal or she has dark skin ?? I got tensed to see her very dark and sometimes she looks red..what can I do ? Is it normal or should I concern. Doctor?

A. baby is 3 years Skin tone and complexion mainly depends on genetic factors so no need to worry about it it will keep on changing concentrate on overall well-being of the baby

A. no need to worry, babies seem to change their body. color in the first few months, after 5 months they will be normal. Don't get tensed even i have experienced this

A. One of the causes is airway obstruction that can cause them breathing difficulty and oxygenation issue which might give rise to a condition called cyanosis where they turn blue and might thus look dark. It is not a very emergency condition but definitely needa evaluation medically since repetitive cyanosis can cause brain damage. This is common in babies with short neck or those who have tongue fall during sleep.

A. It Could be due to dryness in the skin that you are feeling that the skin is turning black because when there is dryness in the skin it could look dry and dark and redness can probably be due to some rashes into that area you can use calamine lotion as of now that’s going to help
