why baby is itching ear ?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy1 Year agoA. rubbing of ear as well as itching of the ears is totally normal. if the child is not crying do not worry about it and to decrease the itching sensation you can apply coconut oil over skin of ear. do not use earbuds to clean the internal ear cavity. external ear can be cleaned with the help of clean cotton cloth. treatment is given onlyd if the child is crying with pain while itching. for pain you can give paracetamol. the most common cause would be due to either referred teething pain or due to dry skin of the ears.

RashmiMom of a 11 yr 2 m old girl1 Year agoA. A lot of times it could be due to ear wax or infection into that area which is very common with small kids so I’m just going to recommend you to kindly consult ENT doctor regarding the situation for their help can be provided on that basis only
