A. straining while passing urine and stool is very normal before completion of 6 months of age. sometimes this can continue for one year of age also. it usually occurs due to the distention of the urinary bladder and rectum of the child. the sensation is new for the child that's why the child is cryingf if you feel that the crying is more than normal you should visit a pediatrician for examination.

A. Dr say that this is a very normal thing for them and there is no such explanation to this but while urinating or pooping sometimes you can have little bit of discomfort they can cry and all but that is completely common and natural for a child it changes as the age progresses
