POOJA GOSWAMIMom of a 10 yr 6 m old girl3 years agoA. Weight gain of a baby depends on the birth weight especially in the starting 1 year. Ideally, baby should gain 140-200 gms of weight per week and by 5th month, it should double the birth weight. For healthy growth and development, it is important to feed breastmilk or formula milk fully and frequently which should include atleadt 1 time night feed too in 4 months.
