A. the walker you have posted can be used under observation it is not advisable to use walker for children because many times the child may fall from it causing grievous injury. it does not help in any growth milestones of the child and many times can cause delay in the walking milestone of the child. the child doesn't learn to walk because the child feels that they have to move around in the walker itself so will not make an attempt to walk avoid using walker if possible.

A. The use of baby walkers is a topic of considerable debate among pediatricians and child safety experts. While walkers were once popular for helping babies learn to walk, many health professionals now advise against their use due to safety concerns and potential developmental delays. ### Safety Concerns: - **Accidents**: Walkers can increase the risk of accidents, such as falling down stairs or reaching hazardous objects. - **Developmental Delays**: There is evidence suggesting that walkers can delay the development of motor skills, including crawling and walking, by limiting floor time and the natural exploration that helps babies develop these skills. ### Alternatives to Walkers: - **Stationary Activity Centers**: These provide a safe environment for babies to play and develop their motor skills without the mobility risks associated with walkers. - **Tummy Time**: Encouraging tummy time helps strengthen your baby's neck, shoulder, arm, and back muscles, which are crucial for crawling and walking. - **Push Toys**: Once your baby is starting to pull up and stand with support, push toys can help them practice walking while still allowing them to develop balance and coordination. ### Recommended Age for Walkers (if used): If you choose to use a walker despite the recommendations, it is generally advised to wait until your baby can sit up on their own and has good head and neck control, usually around 6-8 months. However, strict supervision is essential to ensure safety. ### Professional Advice: Consult your pediatrician for personalized advice based on your baby’s development and needs. They can provide guidance on safe and effective ways to support your baby's motor skill development.
