Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. any cough most of the time either it could be allergic or infective which needs proper evaluation. initially you can start by giving steam inhalation to your baby which will help in relieving symptoms to some extent and will make the baby comfortable.for small baby should be given indirectly from aa distance.cough suppressants are usually avoided in children,it needs to be examined first before giving any kind of medicine. so it will be better if you consult your doctor for proper guidance along with proper dosage for the kind of problem.

Shruti SuranaMom of a 12 yr 3 m old boy4 years agoA. hi dear mom..baby is too young to get self medicated..please consult your paediatrician for proper diagnosis and treatment. .as of now you can use Babyhug cold relief balm..or you can even apply warm mustard oil on your baby's chest back and foot
