Bina biswalMom of 2 children4 years agoA. hi dear!postpartum depression is very evident now a days and the reasons could be mostly the hormonal changes that takes place during and after the pregnancy.Definitely your sleepless nights and the new responsibilities have addends to the situation.we are the first person responsible for the child and very often we are somewhat more cautious and that is quite natural. Most often people don't understand our mental state.we need to talk freely and elaborately about whatever we are feeling to our close ones and often we need to consult a doctor too and that is absolutely fine.Mind chatters a lot during this time so meditation or chanting helps to some extent.

Hi Postpartum depression can start after like you know because your life completely changes you know you are staying awake through the night feeding the child all the days you’re not getting rest you are very restricted to eating so it’s completely normal I would advise you if you feel low at any time talk to your husband about it because husbands are the best people to talk to during this time they really support and understand the situation otherwise you can have him any medicines which are specifically for postpartum depression for at least a month or so
