when should i worry about baby speaking??

Author of questionMom of 3 children3 years agoA. she is responding for my words , bt she is not speaking much , initially she started calling simple words when she was 1 year old.. she do eye to eye contact n all .. my tension is she is not repeating the words wat i say .. so shld i seriously worry abt this ?? or it is early decision??

Uma RamMom of a 7 yr 2 m old boy3 years agoA. Hello good evening !! Generally babies start speaking babbling around 8-9 months dada,mama, papa,bla bla . As baby is one and half year old age baby can speak small words , cognitive skills - recognizing things and tell, observing, responding to simple commands, giving direct eye contact. Check if baby start speaking , recognizing things, giving eye contact, mingling with same age kids . If not consult Paeditrician or developmental pediatrician.
