when my kid is coughing there is a sound coming like thick mucus inside.how to get rid of it

A. hi oh..there is chest congestion to give relief or to cure this , i would suggest to give indirect steam inhalation or you may try heat fomentation for that , take a clean cotton clothe heat the tava and place that cotton clothe on it for few seconds now check the clothe should not be too hot then gently place it on chest and back of your child do it for 8 to 10 minutes for twice in a day
