Q.
When my daughter was born, her weight was 2.350 and at 6 weeks her weight was 4.2. Is it normal? How many grams should be added? One more question. When she was born, her lips were pink in color, then they turned black. The color has not come back yet. she had undergone phototherapy. Maybe that's why her lips turned black?

ExpertVandana SharmaNutritionist2 years agoA. Hello mom yes that can mostly be the reason for that also from birth and later on their will be lot of changes in terms of skin and lip colour etc . Monthly weight gain though is expected to between the range of 300 Gm to 1 kg and then by the age of 4 to 6 months almost they double their birth weight
