Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. you can always increase the amount of milk gradually that is if the child is taking small amount of around 30ml and if you feel that the child wants to take more you can gradually increase the amount and if you see the child is not able to tolerate more amount then you can again decrease the amount so it is depends upon trial and error method
Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. you have to give only demand feeding to the child that is whenever the child feels hungry you can give milk to the child
and the child will taake the milk according to the need and then will leave the milk.
if the child is taking more milk you can offer milk in more quantity with intermittent burping .
there is no need to to go for hourly feeding pattern.
also there is no need to wake up the child from sleep if the weight of the child is within normal limits
