Q.
When baby can’t spit out phlegm on his own how to help him to make it easy My baby’s chest is congested, he has cough with throat pain and runny nose What to do?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. For cold / running nose give syp wikoryl AF 5 ml to the child 2- 3 times per day. (Helps in decreasing running nose and cold)
Prevent temperature variations around the child and give nasal saline drops every three hourly for nasal congestion and block.
Indirect steam help in decreasing coughing.
paracetamol for fever and pain
Go for home remedies like Tulsi Gsinger honey diluted with water combination and turmeric with milk at least 2 times per day.
Give water at frequent intervals
This can occur due to either allergy or infection and some times zdue to climate changes around child.
