Whay does my 17 month old baby walk on tiptoes ?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 7 m old boy2 years agoA. toe walking is many times seen in children after completion of 1 year of age. sometimes it is intermittent as well as sometimes it is continuous. usually thist habit goes away with increasing age of the child usually by 2 years of age. it is advisable that in between whenever you meet your pediatrician you can discuss this problem as well as take a video when the child is toey walking and share it with your pediatrician who will tell you if any intervention is required or not.

It is a very casual habit of kids to break this habit for kids it’s important that you make them wear sandals or shoes throughout the time because that is how the child would be bound to keep the feet straight where in this is a good practice to do but with what your child is doing this is very normal so don’t worry about that
