A. For a 4-month-old, a small bump with mild swelling can be treated with a cold compress wrapped in cloth for 10–15 minutes. Don’t press or massage it. Because the baby is very young, contact your pediatrician for advice. Seek urgent care if there is repeated vomiting, unusual sleepiness, difficulty waking, seizure, loss of consciousness, inconsolable crying, worsening swelling, or unusual behavior.

A. Keep ice cube or cold pack on that area this will help in reducing the swelling and you can also apply the tube for swelling which is Thermophob but at the same time since your child is only four months old please check with your doctor
