Q.

what should we give to 10month baby as daily food..my baby eating banana puree..rice with dal,carrot and tomato...how much water should we give her now???

A. Now that your baby is 10 months old, you might see they're not as excited about eating. But it's not that they're not hungry; they're just bored with the same old food. Here's a little advice from one mom to another: Stop making their food all mushy. They're ready for more chunky stuff. Give them lots of different things to eat with their hands, both during meals and for snacks. Try to give them three meals and two snacks a day, but pay attention to when they're actually hungry. Keep breastfeeding. It's still really good for them. Just keep trying new things and stay patient.For more guidance on what to feed your little one, I found the food chart from 'My Little Moppet' really helpful. It's full of recipes that are common in Indian households and perfect for babies..

A. hi as your child is 10 Months old, you can offer variety of food items from different food groups like vegetables, fruit, nuts pulses dairy products etc so you can prepare homemade cerelac, sheera, rab, porridge, khichdi, soup, dal rice etc. but please prefer homemade healthy food. you can offer 80 ml water per day.
