What should I do to gain weight for my 7 and half year old child .. he is very active child.

A. Kids who are active tend to gain weight slowly, but if they are healthy, there should not be any need to be concerned. You should keep feeding fresh and home cooked meals including fat and protein rich foods like potato, rice, pumpkin, sweet potato, eggs, chicken, fish, legumes, ghee, milkshakes with dry fruits, banana, avocado and 550-600 ml milk everyday. Feed 3 main meals and 2-3 times healthy snacks including variety of fluids like water, fresh juices, curd, buttermilk and coconut water.
