A. The average weight of a 26 months old girl should be around 9.5 to 12 kg. These foods help in healthy weight gain : Give yoghurt made from whole fat milk. Give cheese, almond milk, soy milk, almond butter and peanut butter. Give fruit milkshakes and fruit smoothies and add dry fruits powder to them. Give avocados, pears, bananas, pineapple, papaya and mangoes. Give chickpeas and green peas. Give one boiled egg per day. Give lentils like moong Dal and urad Dal. Give plain nuts and dry fruits like walnuts, cashews, peanuts, almonds and raisins. Give ragi, brown rice and whole wheat pasta.
