harishMom of a 3 yr 2 m old boy2 years agoA. It actually depends on birth weight, and if the baby has gained around 800 g to 1300 g every month after birth up to 6 months, it's good enough. After that though baby starts consuming solids, weight gain is rather slow since baby becomes active by this time with lots of moving around. So please dont worry about the weight gain and all too much if baby is healthy and active. Hope this helped.

It should be three times or minimum of 10 kg by completing the age of 12 months that is the minimum weight can we expect should be there so you can check for that as most of the time is the weight gain is going to be completely based on the birth weight of the child
