ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist3 years agoA. Dear mum, baby’s weight in the first month would completely depend on the birth weight. Babies lose weight after birth which they regain in 15 days time. Thereafter baby should gain at least 500 grams per month on an average.

by 6 months of age babies weight almost doubles by his birth weight
so each month it can grow around half a kg
exclusive breastfeeding is recommended till 6 months of age
