Ankita MehtaMom of a 9 yr 3 m old girl3 years agoA. hi it is not necessary to get it done. the doctors prescribe it if the parents are interested. or this type of ultrasonography is Prescribed if the doctor suspects any birth defects like cleft palates or other structural birth anomalies . so please discuss it with your gynecologist for once whether it is really required in your case or not.
