A. Ideal weight of an 8 months old baby girl should be between 7.8 to 8 kgs and height 68 to 70 cms depending on eating habits and birth weight. In 8 months, you can introduce new foods in the diet like yolk of a boiled egg, chicken soup, oats with nuts, milkshakes with dry fruits, banana shake, besan and beetroot cheela, etc. alongwith 750-850 ml everyday. Feed 3 main meals and 2-3 times healthy snacks.
