what is the time gap between meftal syrup?? pls suggest my baby have high fever

A. Minimum of six hours is important for you to maintain so please take care of that and always take the temperature properly before you give the medicine along with that cold sponge if you feel the temperature is little high this will really be beneficial

So gave meftal syrup.. but fever is coming back within 4hrs gap.. giving him sponge bath and doc said it's viral fever.. Can I give him meftal syrup every 4hrs gap???
