The right age for a baby to use a walker is generally between 6 and 8 months old, though many pediatric experts advise against traditional wheeled walkers due to safety and developmental concerns. A baby must only use one if they can sit up completely unsupported and bear weight on their feet.

Actually it is not advisable to use walkers for the child hampers and natural growth of the child which is why the doctor suggest that you should not use it but yes you should keep the child on the floor on a mattress which will help in encouraging the child to sit crawl and then stand and walk with support there is no need to give a walker
