Ankita MehtaMom of a 9 yr 3 m old girl2 years agoA. hi it is surgical intervention that is frequently performed in children , there is no consensus about age at which it should be performed. but yes performing it when kids are less than 1 year old decreases the risk of complications due to anesthesia and lower the costs compared with performing the procedure on older children.
