what is the maximum age limit until which if the baby doesn't speak is acceptable? My baby is 17months old and he just babbles ma-ma da-da ka-ka...no meaningful words yet. He responds back with eye contact n smile instead

A. most of the babies by the end of one year of age will be speaking someone or syllabus like mama papa Dada some babies not speaking you enough to 2 years also they may be having expressive aphasia
