A. dear mum, the healthiest way to increase the weight of 5 years old baby would be to give a balanced diet having variety of food groups. grains and millets - 4 servings pulses legumes/egg non veg: 1-2 servings seasonal vegetables including green leafy vegetables: 1.5 serving fruits - 1 serving milk and milk products 500ml sugar 4 tsp oil 5 tsp control intake of processed packaged foods.

A. hi give Healthy diet. give high calorie diet which includes green veggies, fresh fruits, nuts, pulses, beans, dairy products etc you can give one apple or banana a day. give dates with one tsp ghee daily in morning give full cream milk with dry fruits powder atleast once in a day.
