Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy1 Year agoA. it is fontanelle. it present at birth. fontanelles are present in all infants, crucial for brain growth, and typically close by 18 months or sometimes by age 2. ensure the child has no calcium or vitamin d deficiency, common causes of delayed closure.
