what is ROP Test for preterm baby.once we tested..is we need to take any followup and at what's time of babys age?

A. but it wouldn't hurt to call you doctor and ask if a follow up is needed.

A. ROP is an eye test that is generally done for a pre term baby to make sure the eyes are developing properly, follow up if suggested is to make sure that until 44 weeks of corrected gestational age the development continues normally. My son who was born Preterm had 4 ROP tests 2 to 3 weeks apart. If no follow up is specified it means the eye vessels have fully developed and no more tests are needed, so it's a good thing if no follow ups are needed.

A. Hello Mom This is a test just to measure the health for preterm baby. And in this test there is nothing to worry about. Because doctors just checked overall growth of baby because baby has born early. So you can consult after going through a test with your paediatrician so doctor can guide you well after checking baby’s reports. Stay home stay safe
