what is epiglottis??

A. The epiglottis is a leaf-shaped flap of cartilage located behind the tongue, at the top of the larynx, or voice box. The main function of the epiglottis is to seal off the windpipe during eating, so that food is not accidentally inhaled . it would be better to check with your doctor

Q. Hi madam myself mom of two children one is 2 years 4 months old and the other is 4 months old boy. for my second child breast milk is not sufficient so I'm feeding him with nanpro when ever required. alternatively breastfeeding also giving. but the problem is he said she making snoring like sound while woke up. if he sleeps that sounds won't be audible. we have consulted doctor he said that epiglottis is little bit large as he grows that gets normal. snoring sound is not reduced and more over he is vomiting milk as curd with some smell I'm giving him nanpro stage 1. what could be the duration for feeding..
