what if child dowa not pass stool for 2 days? is this normal?

ExpertDr.Rasika ThosarPaediatric Intensivist3 years agoA. if he is exclusively breastfed then constipation is rare.
he will pass stools eventually. do tummy time, cycling motion of legs, do burp properly.
if child becomes irritable , not feeding well , then consult your paediatrician.
formula fed babies may have constipation. so watch for consistency of stools as well. .

yes it is normal.
infact it is normal for young babies to not pass stool up to 7 days.
please continue with breastfeeding.
give Massage to your child regularly which will help to regularise bowlmovements.
