Q.

What does hiccups mean in baby? Does it mean he is hungry?

A. hiccups in children occur due to gas which is present in the stomach. during the feeding process child takes air along with milk and that air goes inside the stomach whichz irritates leading to hiccups. you have to offer feeding as well as do proper burping(for atleast 20 minutes) to decrease this problem and it is a self limitingz problem during hiccups just give breastfeeding again and keep the child in upright position for burping which will stop the episode

A. Hiccups up doesn’t mean anything it’s a normal thing that starts with Top on its own it doesn’t have any negative impact on the child so it really doesn’t make any difference and if we go for as per what adults say like in our families and all they say that the bigger intestine is developing which is why kids have hiccups but actually there is no such logic behind it’s a natural thing that starts and stops on its own
