if the consistency is hard and the child is having pain while passing stool it is considered as constipation.
give plenty of water and fibre diet to the child
it is important to give fibre diet from cereals pulses vegetables and fruits
avoid giving more than 400 ml xmilk everyday and avoid giving packet and processed foods as well as biscuits and refined food
adding papaya , fennel seeds water , oats pear prunes pineapple zbanana kishmish to the regular diet will help in decreasing constipation.

first, maintain good hydration throughout the day
give fiber rich food items like soup , fruits like pear papaya plum banana etc more
avoid giving maida based food products
encourage your child to do more physical activities
