A. Anal fissure is a tear in the anal area which can cause itchiness and pain. It can occur when ur baby is severely constipated and passes very hard stools or when he doesn't relax his anal muscles while passing stools. When there us anal fissure you can even see blood in the stools. If you notice one or more fissures which hurts ur baby you should get him examined by the doctor. The doctor may prescribe medicines or ointments. As a home remedy you can help ur baby to sit in a warm water such that his anal area is in the warm water for few minutes which can help to heal the fissures. It should be plain warm water do not add anything to it. Include fibre rich foods in his diet to relieve from constipation. Keep him hydrated with lot of fluids.
