Q.

Weight of my 5month old baby girl is 5.6 kg now. I am little worried as weight gain is very slow. She is only on breastfeeding. Do I need to start anything extra?

A. Dear mum, weight of 5.6 kg is a normal weight for 5 months old baby girl, do not worry. You should not give any other food. Continue to exclusively breastfeed till 6 months complete. At one episode of breast feeding, feed from only one breast so that baby receives fat rich hindmilk which will help in weight gain.
