A. Ideally, infants should gain approximately 140-200 gms of weight per week in the initial months and by 5th month, it should double the birth weight. So, a 4 month old baby's ideal weight can be between 6-7 kgs depending on birth weight and feeding patterns. Feed in every 3-4 hours and it should include atleast one time night feed too.
