A. Namaste Mom As mostly around this age the baby is mostly dependent on mothers feed hence would be ideal that you have a healthy and filling diet preferably before baby feed as such as that would then enhance the quality of the feed. and in turn help in weight gain.

A. A 3-month-old baby gains weight best with frequent and full milk feeds. Make sure your baby latches well, stays awake during feeding, and gets both day and night feeds. Burp after every feed to reduce gas, and check for enough wet diapers. Only breast milk or formula is needed at this age, no solids yet. If weight gain still seems slow, talk to your doctor for guidance.

A. It is expected that the child should gain at least half a kilogram in a month and if your child is not gaining weight that way then in that case with the breastfeeding you can also start giving formula to the child which will help in better weight gain and growth of your child
