Q.

we have 26 days old baby boy. my better half has sore nipple in one of the breast. unable to feed baby. what should she do in terms of feeding baby and filling his milk requirement? at this age, how much milk they consume for every feed?

A. Hello.. apply nip care cream. Apply to nipples after breast-feeding. and remove or gentally wipe with soft cotton cloth and wash before nursing your baby. Use Nipple shields to protect sore nipples during feedings.

A. Hello sir Apply nip care ointment to get relief from sore nipples. Till then feed from the other side. One month baby can take around 40-60 ml of milk per feed. If ur baby is active and comfortable otherwise, passing out urine 6-8 times in a day, gaining weight then that means your baby is taking sufficient feed
